MetaStock 11 EOD: where it went

The short version

Version 11 is nine versions old, and effectively offline

The practical problem is not that 11 looks dated. It is that an old install cannot connect to MetaStock's current data feeds, and charting software without data is a picture frame. If you have a version 11 disc or licence, there is no supported way to run it against today's market data.

What version 11 never had, and MetaStock 20 does: the Forecaster's patented forecast cloud, the XENITH news and fundamentals terminal, the Power Console, OptionScope, and Japanese candle pattern recognition included free (it was once a US$399 add-on).
